Laws § 141.321","heading":"Definitions.","body":"Sec. 1.\n\nAs used in this act:\n\n\"Park\" means an area of land or water, or both, dedicated to 1 or more of the following uses:\n\nRecreational purposes, including but not limited to landscaped tracts; picnic grounds; playgrounds; athletic fields; camps; campgrounds; zoological and botanical gardens; swimming, boating, hunting, fishing, and birding areas; and foot and bridle paths.\n\nOpen or scenic space.\n\nEnvironmental, conservation, nature, or wildlife areas.\n\n\"Record owner\" means an individual, partnership, corporation, limited liability company, association, or other legal entity, possessed of the most recent fee title or a land contract vendee's interest in land as shown by the records of the county register of deeds.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 141","Act Act-153-of-1996"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-141-321","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"4599f476e4a008102ff05915d75bbd22fd747e182eb0b2dde575152910c1c18a","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-141.1455","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-141.322"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
