Laws § 205.42","heading":"Motor fuel taxes; acts.","body":"Sec. 2.\n\nThe department of treasury shall administer and enforce the following acts and shall succeed to and is hereby vested with all the powers, duties, functions, responsibilities, and jurisdiction now or hereafter conferred upon the secretary of state with respect to the collection of motor fuel taxes as prescribed by:\n\nMotor fuel tax, Act No. 150 of the Public Acts of 1927, being sections 207.101 to 207.202 of the Michigan Compiled Laws.\n\nHighway finance act of 1955, former Act No. 87 of the Public Acts of 1955, or its successor.\n\nAeronautics code of the state of Michigan, Act No. 327 of the Public Acts of 1945, being sections 259.1 to 259.208 of the Michigan Compiled Laws.\n\nMarine fuel tax, part 781 (Michigan state waterways commission) of the natural resources and environmental protection act, Act No. 451 of the Public Acts of 1994, being sections 324.78101 to 324.78112 of the Michigan Compiled Laws.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 205","Act Act-15-of-1959"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-205-42","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"22cb349df48e939ed2416cee3059361a4a5631f9a79fcd499a8501b4827ab59f","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-205.41","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-205.43"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
