Laws § 211.666","heading":"Fee for filing and indexing notice of lien, certificate, or notice affecting lien; billing federal officials for fees.","body":"Sec. 6.\n\n(1) The fee for filing and indexing a notice of lien, certificate, or notice affecting the lien is as follows:\n\n(a) For a lien, on real estate or on tangible and intangible property, the same fee provided by law for recording a real estate mortgage.\n\n(b) For a certificate of discharge or subordination, the same fee provided by law for recording a discharge of a real estate mortgage.\n\n(c) For all other notices, including a certificate of release or nonattachment, the same fee provided by law for recording a real estate mortgage.\n\n(2) The filing officer shall bill the district directors of internal revenue or other appropriate federal officials on a monthly basis for fees for documents filed by those federal officials, unless alternative payment methods are established.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 211","Act Act-102-of-1983"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-211-666","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"e97cec1dfc663941f6262beafbf8d7684276f4e1b616c290f3b23aaf693e8e9b","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-211.665","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-211.667"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
