Laws § 24.250","heading":"Legislative standing committees; functions.","body":"Sec. 50.\n\nWhen the legislature is in session, the committee shall electronically notify the appropriate standing committee of each house of the legislature when rules have been transmitted to the committee by the secretary of state. If the committee determines that a hearing on those rules is to be held, it shall electronically notify the chairs of the standing committees.
