Laws § 247.803","heading":"State transportation commission; appointment and terms of members; vacancies; bond.","body":"Sec. 3.\n\nThe governor with the advice and consent of the senate shall appoint the first members of the commission for terms of 1, 2, 3, and 4 years, commencing on July 1, 1964. Except for terms commenced before the effective date of section 6a, the term of office of a member of the commission shall be for 3 years. Vacancies on the commission shall be filled by the governor for the unexpired terms.
