Laws § 257.248d","heading":"Wholesaler; requirements.","body":"Sec. 248d.\n\nAll of the following requirements apply to a wholesaler:\n\n(a) A wholesaler shall not advertise vehicles for sale on the internet or any classified listing unless the advertisement clearly discloses the wholesaler's license classification and clearly states that a purchaser must be a licensed vehicle dealer.\n\n(b) A wholesaler shall not buy or sell fewer than 24 vehicles in this state each year to retain possession of a wholesaler license.\n\n(c) A wholesaler shall maintain an established place of business in this state in accordance with the conditions listed in section 14(3).\n\n(d) A wholesaler shall maintain and adhere to designated business hours that are filed with the secretary of state.\n\n(e) A wholesaler shall maintain regular hours of operation at an established place of business that include at least 15 regular business hours per week between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 257","Act Act-300-of-1949"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-257-248d","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"ebc69a6e63830e10d69f9ff30b20e83004602149d2495601bc51c586ed88a4ef","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-257.248c","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-257.248e"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
