Laws § 257.319f","heading":"Operation of commercial motor vehicle in violation of out-of-state service order; prohibition; suspension; \"commercial motor vehicle\" defined.","body":"Sec. 319f.\n\n(1) A person shall not operate a commercial motor vehicle in this state in violation of an out-of-service order.\n\n(2) Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, the secretary of state shall immediately suspend all vehicle group designations on the operator's or chauffeur's license of a person convicted of violating a driver out-of-service or vehicle out-of-service order as required under 49 CFR 383.51.\n\n(3) A person who violates an out-of-service order shall be ordered to pay a civil fine as required under section 907.\n\n(4) As used in this section, \"commercial motor vehicle\" means that term as defined in section 7a and any motor vehicle having a GVWR or GCWR of 10,001 pounds or more.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 257","Act Act-300-of-1949"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-257-319f","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"8aa6ec92242b3795f6b65711b89cd6d0f32c237315b97ed36a286431e5d251f4","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-257.319d","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-257.319g"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
