Laws § 259.176a","heading":"Suspension or revocation of license, certificate, or letter of authority; grounds.","body":"Sec. 176a.\n\nThe commission or its authorized representative, after consideration of the issues of fact and after hearing held, may suspend or permanently revoke, or both, a license, certificate, or letter of authority of any person who does any of the following:\n\nKnowingly forges, counterfeits, alters, or falsely makes a certificate authorized to be issued under this act or the rules promulgated under this act, or uses or attempts to use any such certificate.\n\nKnowingly makes a false statement in an application for a license or registration or in a report required by the commission.\n\nViolates a condition or provision of a license or letter of authority issued by the commission.\n\nFails to render reports requested by, and within the time limits prescribed by, the commission.\n\nFails to maintain the minimum standards determined by the commission.\n\nCommits an act on the part of a flight school by a flight instructor or representative that is contrary to public safety or to the proper training of students enrolled in a flight school.\n\nFails to comply, in whole or part, with any rule promulgated by the commission.\n\nFails to abate a hazard certified by the commission.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 259","Act Act-327-of-1945"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-259-176a","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"afcbd5386926cec548fc1f969455baaab6f84abfcc9b0800a511a8b426503606","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-259.176","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-259.177"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
