Laws § 28.411","heading":"Stolen and recovered personal property; report to state police, form.","body":"Sec. 1.\n\nIt shall be the duty of all law enforcement officers to report to the Michigan state police all stolen and all recovered personal property of a value of $25.00 or over: Provided, That a report shall not be required with respect to personal property recovered, and the owner thereof known, within 48 hours of the receipt of the report of such stolen personal property.
