Laws § 28.468c","heading":"Person ineligible to obtain consumer fireworks certificates; offenses; periods; sanctions.","body":"Sec. 18c.\n\n(1) A person that is found responsible for any of the following is ineligible, beginning on the date of the finding, to obtain a consumer fireworks certificate for the period of time indicated:\n\n(a) A second violation of section 4(1), 5 years.\n\n(b) A third or subsequent violation of section 4(1), 10 years.\n\n(c) A first violation of section 8(4), 1 year.\n\n(d) A second violation of section 8(4), 5 years.\n\n(e) A third or subsequent violation of section 8(4), 10 years.\n\n(f) A violation subject to section 18(1)(b), 1 year.\n\n(g) A violation subject to section 18(1)(c), permanently.\n\n(h) A violation subject to section 18(1)(d), permanently.\n\n(2) A sanction imposed under subsection (1) shall be imposed in addition to any other penalty or sanction imposed for a violation of this act.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 28","Act Act-256-of-2011"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-28-468c","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"8659fd62161c40afc3c66071a07094c477b355116742ce2e40e5162bc795a58e","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-28.468b","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-28.469"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
