Laws § 28.713","heading":"Missing senior or vulnerable adult; report.","body":"Sec. 3.\n\nA law enforcement agency that receives notice of a missing senior or vulnerable adult from a person familiar with the missing senior or vulnerable adult shall prepare a report on the missing senior or vulnerable adult. The report shall include the following:\n\n(a) Relevant information obtained from the notification concerning the missing senior or vulnerable adult, including the following:\n\n( i ) A physical description of the missing senior or vulnerable adult.\n\n( ii ) The date, time, and place that the missing senior or vulnerable adult was last seen.\n\n( iii ) The missing senior's or vulnerable adult's address.\n\n(b) Information gathered by a preliminary investigation, if one was made.\n\n(c) A statement by the law enforcement officer in charge setting forth that officer's assessment of the case based upon the evidence and information received.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 28","Act Act-176-of-2012"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-28-713","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"89c91bf1eb596ad38b8a7902c08c70cf4ce93cd5726d9e7772ac83a74a813359","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-28.712","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-28.714"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
