Laws § 28.821","heading":"Short title; definitions.","body":"Sec. 1.\n\n(1) This act shall be known and may be cited as the \"law enforcement and firefighter access to epinephrine act\".\n\n(2) As used in this act:\n\n(a) \"Eligible entity\" means a law enforcement agency or organized fire department that is prescribed auto-injectable epinephrine.\n\n(b) \"Firefighter\" means that term as defined in section 1 of the fire prevention code, 1941 PA 207, MCL 29.1.\n\n(c) \"Law enforcement agency\" means that term as defined in section 2 of the Michigan commission on law enforcement standards act, 1965 PA 203, MCL 28.602.\n\n(d) \"Law enforcement officer\" means that term as defined in section 2 of the Michigan commission on law enforcement standards act, 1965 PA 203, MCL 28.602.\n\n(e) \"Organized fire department\" means that term as defined in section 1 of the fire prevention code, 1941 PA 207, MCL 29.1.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 28","Act Act-312-of-2020"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-28-821","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"e9ecf9ad9c0e58dc85db2b9e3df8db442be0610b62faf904ab0254f08f3d9707","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-28.730","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-28.822"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
