Laws § 287.223","heading":"Duration of original brand; renewal and transfer; application forms and fees; disposition of fees.","body":"Sec. 3.\n\nAn original brand shall be issued for 10 years and may be renewed for 10-year periods. Application for renewal shall be made within 90 days of the date of expiration.\n\nA brand may be transferred and is valid for 5 years from the date of transfer.
