Laws § 287.390","heading":"License; suspension or revocation; grounds, notice, reinstatement.","body":"Sec. 10.\n\nThe license may be suspended or revoked by the director of agriculture for any of the following reasons:\n\nThe incompetence or untrustworthiness of the holder.\n\nWilful falsification of any matter or statement contained in the application.\n\nThe licensee or any director or officer thereof has been convicted of cruelty to animals or a violation of the provisions of this act.\n\nThe licensee does not conform to the provisions of this act or the rules of the agriculture commission.\n\nWritten notice of the suspension or revocation shall be given by the director of agriculture within 10 days to the licensee.\n\nA person whose license has been suspended may apply, after 90 days from the date of the suspension, for reinstatement of the license.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 287","Act Act-224-of-1969"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-287-390","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"2cabbec6ef4ed3d1d8ad40480afe1f0e893b2e823ad914f65a4e78a17a33c720","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-287.389","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-287.391"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
