Laws § 287.841","heading":"Importation of feeder pigs; requirements; entry of feral swine.","body":"Sec. 41.\n\nFeeder pigs imported into this state shall meet 1 of the following requirements:\n\nOriginate directly from a feeder pig monitored herd or qualified negative pseudorabies free herd.\n\nOriginate directly from a herd in a state which participates in a pseudorabies testing program that is approved by the director.\n\nOriginate directly from a pseudorabies free state or region as designated by the United States department of agriculture or as determined by the director.\n\nFeral swine shall not be allowed to enter the state of Michigan for any purpose without specific permission of the director.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 287","Act Act-239-of-1992"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-287-841","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"8f21d1c4afbd090bb7353a3441c5ea5a9754bac0872f9626f45c4f1712e48033","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-287.839","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-287.843"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
