Laws § 289.4129","heading":"Denial of license or registration; hearing; commencement; conduct.","body":"Sec. 4129.\n\n(1) A license, registration, or certificate applicant may request a hearing regarding the regulatory authority's denial of a new or renewal license, registration, or certificate. A person desiring a hearing in response to a denial of a license, registration, or certificate shall submit a hearing request to the regulatory authority within 30 calendar days after the date of the denial.\n\n(2) The regulatory authority shall afford a hearing within 30 days after receiving a written request for a hearing as specified in this section when the request demonstrates that there is a genuine and material issue of fact that justifies that a hearing be held.\n\n(3) Hearings shall be conducted in an expeditious and impartial manner.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 289","Act Act-92-of-2000"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-289-4129","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"69ff4eb898390017253c3722dac8ca78e33c611663c58635e5afb41d170bab30","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-289.4127","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-289.5101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
