Laws § 290.453","heading":"Application for license; contents; fee; submission of false information; expiration.","body":"Sec. 3.\n\nA person required to be licensed under this act shall apply to the director in writing before June 1 of each year and shall provide the following:\n\nThe full name of the persons constituting the firm including the full names and addresses of buyers or agents for the firm.\n\nThe place or places where the applicant intends to carry on the business.\n\nThe amount of business done the preceding year.\n\nThe signature of the applicant certifying that the information provided on the application is true, correct, and complete to the best of his or her knowledge.\n\nThe fee for each license shall be $100.00 and for each certified copy of the license shall be $5.00.\n\nThe director may deny, suspend, or revoke the license of a licensee or applicant who knowingly submits false information on an application for licensure.\n\nA license issued under this act expires May 31 of each year.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 290","Act Act-158-of-1964"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-290-453","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"28909bc1cef0cf28e9970c60a9f24e734dd4b20f641c7099041a9573ebc17c1c","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-290.452","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-290.454"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
