Laws § 290.663","heading":"Termination of program; petition, hearing, recommendation, referendum.","body":"Sec. 13.\n\nUpon written petition duly signed by 25%, or 200, of the producers affected by the program, whichever is less, the director shall, within 30 days, give 10 days' notice and hold a hearing on termination of a program.\n\nWithin 30 days after the close of the hearings, the director, after consulting with the committee, shall issue a recommendation, give public notice, and notify all producers of record, all parties appearing at the hearing and any other interested parties.\n\nThe director, upon recommending termination of a marketing program, shall, within 30 days, conduct a referendum to determine whether the affected producers assent to the proposed action.
