Laws § 290.779","heading":"Violation as misdemeanor.","body":"Sec. 29.\n\nA person who violates this act or a rule promulgated under this act is guilty of a misdemeanor and is subject to the following penalties:\n\nIf the person was acting as a dealer in violation of this act, for a first offense, the person shall be fined not less than $1,000.00 or more than $5,000.00, or shall be imprisoned for not more than 90 days, or both. For each subsequent offense, the person shall be fined not less than $2,000.00 or more than $10,000.00, or shall be imprisoned for not more than 90 days, or both.\n\nIf the person was acting as a grower in violation of this act, for a first offense, the person shall be fined not less than $25.00 or more than $500.00, or shall be imprisoned for not more than 90 days, or both.
