Laws § 324.11577","heading":"Materials management plan goals.","body":"Sec. 11577.\n\nThe goals of an MMP are all of the following:\n\n(a) To prevent adverse effects on the environment, natural resources, or the public health, safety, or welfare resulting from improper collection, processing, recovery, or disposal of managed materials, including protection of surface water and groundwater, air, and land.\n\n(b) To ensure managed materials are sustainably managed to achieve benefits to the economy, communities, and the environment.\n\n(c) To ensure that all managed material generated in the planning area is collected and recovered, processed, or disposed at materials management facilities that comply with state statutes and rules or managed appropriately at out-of-state facilities.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 324","Act Act-451-of-1994"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-324-11577","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"f80881640a9fbeced053cd0c17b22e9ee401ef3936c6894e2b0df40f2cb6522f","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.11576","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.11578"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
