Laws § 324.19613","heading":"Grants and loans under MCL 324.19608; conditions.","body":"Sec. 19613.\n\nOf the funds to be used to provide grants and loans under section 19608(1)(a)( iv ), all of the following conditions apply:\n\nA recipient of a grant shall receive not more than 1 grant per year not to exceed $1,000,000.00 per grant.\n\nA recipient of a loan shall receive a maximum of 1 loan per year not to exceed $1,000,000.00 per loan.\n\nA grant shall be awarded only if the department determines that both of the following apply:\n\nThe property is a facility as defined in section 20101.\n\nThe proposed development of the property will result in measurable economic benefit in excess of the grant amount requested by the applicant.\n\nA loan shall be awarded only if the department determines that both of the following apply:\n\nThe property is a facility as defined in section 20101 or is suspected of being a facility.\n\nThe property has economic development potential based on the applicant's planned use of the property.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 324","Act Act-451-of-1994"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-324-19613","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"e55387b0f976f8290fb23ad577655173a7c542cb33aabc1ff550bab2564d1f47","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.19612","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.19614"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
