Laws § 324.2603","heading":"Environmental science advisory board; creation; membership; eligibility.","body":"Sec. 2603.\n\n(1) The environmental science advisory board is created in the department of technology, management, and budget.\n\n(2) The board shall consist of 9 individuals appointed by the governor who have expertise in 1 or more of the following areas:\n\n(a) Engineering.\n\n(b) Environmental science.\n\n(c) Economics.\n\n(d) Chemistry.\n\n(e) Geology.\n\n(f) Physics.\n\n(g) Biology.\n\n(h) Human medicine.\n\n(i) Statistics.\n\n(j) Risk assessment.\n\n(k) Other disciplines that the governor considers appropriate.\n\n(3) A current legislator or a current employee of any office, department, or agency of this state or of the federal government is not eligible to serve as a member of the board.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 324","Act Act-451-of-1994"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-324-2603","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"b2242ed5ca0fdd989feb7251e283ca59ea24b58165e21117671021b919f9c786","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.2601","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.2605"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
