Laws § 324.30311b","heading":"Permit; validity; duration; conditions.","body":"Sec. 30311b.\n\n(1) A permit issued under this part shall not be valid for more than 5 years.\n\n(2) The department may establish a reasonable time when the construction, development, or use authorized under any permit issued under this part is to be completed or terminated.\n\n(3) The department may impose on any permit or authorization under a general permit under this part conditions designed to do any of the following:\n\n(a) Remove or reduce an impairment to wetland benefits, as set forth in section 30302, that would otherwise result from the project.\n\n(b) Improve the water quality that would otherwise result from the project.\n\n(c) Remove or reduce the effect of a discharge of fill material.\n\n(4) The department may impose a condition on an authorization under a general permit under subsection (3) only after consultation with the applicant or applicant's agent.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 324","Act Act-451-of-1994"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-324-30311b","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"14ab5fa27cc2ffe91ec72f720de7543d9b81a396aef9504633664875b8c70473","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.30311a","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.30311d"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
