Laws § 324.50102","heading":"Definitions; A to D.","body":"Sec. 50102.\n\n\"Agency of this state\" means a board, bureau, commission, department, or other division of the executive branch of government of this state.\n\n\"Board\" means the board of directors of the forest improvement district.\n\n\"Bond\" means a bond, note, or any other instrument issued to evidence indebtedness.\n\n\"Cost-share payment\" means a payment made by a forest improvement district pursuant to section 50145 to a member who owns or occupies forest land.\n\n\"County with high unemployment\" means a county with an annual unemployment rate, as reported by the Michigan employment security commission, higher than the mean annual unemployment rate of this state.\n\n\"District\" or \"forest improvement district\" means a governmental subdivision of the state established under section 50123.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 324","Act Act-451-of-1994"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-324-50102","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"76036dd17ed28c837bbb24c48a1f9f08d20c48168fdf99c912cd25774d8372b8","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.50101","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.50103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
