Laws § 324.51110","heading":"Cutting, harvesting, or removing forest products prohibited; exceptions.","body":"Sec. 51110.\n\nExcept as provided in subsection (2), a person shall not cut, harvest, or remove forest products from a commercial forest.\n\nThe owner of a commercial forest is entitled to cut or remove merchantable forest products on his or her commercial forest without withdrawing it or affecting its status as a commercial forest and without payment of a fee or penalty if the owner complies with all of the following:\n\nAfter an owner certifies to the department that a forest management plan has been prepared and is in effect under section 51103 and cuts, harvests, or removes forest products in compliance with his or her forest management plan.\n\nAll other requirements of this part.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 324","Act Act-451-of-1994"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-324-51110","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"080df217e7d062b91a35e30ff02671a403f35d35e01b7212d7d5a42b89b3caa5","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.51109","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.51111"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
