Laws § 324.63525","heading":"Application for revision of permit; standards; transfer, assignment, or sale of rights; review of outstanding permits; revision or modification of permit provisions; conducting action regarding permit pursuant to MCL 24.271 to 24.292.","body":"Sec. 63525.\n\nDuring the term of a permit, the permittee may submit to the department an application for a revision of the permit, including a revised reclamation plan. An application for a revision of a permit shall not be approved unless the department finds that reclamation as required by this part can be accomplished under the revised reclamation plan. An application for a revision is subject to part 13, except that the department shall establish standards for a determination of the scale or extent of a revision request for which all permit application information requirements and procedures shall apply.\n\nA transfer, assignment, or sale of the rights granted under a permit issued pursuant to this part shall not be made without the written approval of the department.\n\nThe department shall, within a time limit prescribed by rule, review outstanding permits. The department may require revision or modification of the permit provisions during the terms of the permit based on a change in technology or a change in circumstances.\n\nAll action taken by the department under this section regarding the granting, modification, denial, or revision of a permit shall be conducted pursuant to chapters 4 and 5 of the administrative procedures act of 1969, 1969 PA 306, MCL 24.271 to 24.292.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 324","Act Act-451-of-1994"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-324-63525","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"940e190dce37b8864cb1ea5d79ee92825ecc69115817fa759fbccbcdf59cabeb","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.63524","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.63526"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
