Laws § 324.82112","heading":"Operation of snowmobile program; review of effectiveness; report.","body":"Sec. 82112.\n\nThe department, in consultation with the snowmobile advisory board, shall conduct a review of the effectiveness of operation of the snowmobile program by the forestry division of the department and submit a written report to the house and senate committees that consider natural resources and conservation legislation by July 1, 1996.\n\nThe review shall include, but not be limited to, consideration of the following:\n\nThe manner in which trail improvement funds and snowmobile registration fee funds are spent and whether the spending is in accordance with this part.\n\nThe manner in which the grant process has been implemented and to whom grants have been awarded during the time of the review.\n\nEstablishment and maintenance of the snowmobile trails system.\n\nLong-term planning pertaining to the trails system.\n\nContract grooming of snowmobile trails versus grooming of trails by employees of the department.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 324","Act Act-451-of-1994"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-324-82112","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"f33db1c4bb990893ea0b1ed288543addeee3a6774a9c136a28a39edaf3036356","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.82111","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.82113"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
