Laws § 324.8309","heading":"Refusing, canceling, or suspending registration; circumstances.","body":"Sec. 8309.\n\nThe director may refuse to register or may cancel or suspend registration of a pesticide if any of the following circumstances exist:\n\nThe pesticide does not meet its EPA registration and labeling claims.\n\nThe pesticide labeling and other material required to be submitted does not comply with this part or the rules promulgated under this part.\n\nThe pesticide is in violation of this part.\n\nBased on substantial scientific evidence, the director determines that the use of the pesticide is likely to cause an unreasonable adverse effect on the environment, which cannot be controlled by designating the pesticide as a restricted use pesticide, by limiting the uses for which a pesticide may be used or registered, or by other changes to the registration or pesticide label.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 324","Act Act-451-of-1994"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-324-8309","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"d444783c5668c065427a39d4223983af7438de108a22f23b81ba5fbc7b869cd3","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.8308a","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-324.8310"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
