Laws § 325.854","heading":"Toxic substance loan repayment fund; establishment; deposits; use of fund.","body":"Sec. 4.\n\nA toxic substance loan repayment fund is established in the department.\n\nAll payments of principal, interest, fees, charges, and other receipts from the servicing of loans made pursuant to former Act No. 273 of the Public Acts of 1978, shall be deposited into the toxic substance loan repayment fund.\n\nThe state treasurer may use the fund to pay the costs of servicing loans made pursuant to former Act No. 273 of the Public Acts of 1978, including any costs incurred by the state in protecting the state's interest in those loans, and may establish a reserve to cover anticipated servicing costs.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 325","Act Act-459-of-1982"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-325-854","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"acf21f4fd1d445ca4490aa4aad4ceddab88962ed246e5523ac66fcc5e90717da","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-325.853","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-325.855"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
