Laws § 330.1241","heading":"Adult foster care facilities; expenses eligible for state financial support.","body":"Sec. 241.\n\nExpenditures for the maintenance and repair of adult foster care facilities owned or leased by a community mental health services program are eligible for state financial support. Expenses incurred in renovating an adult foster care facility that is leased or owned by a community mental health services program are also eligible for state financial support if the expenses are incurred for 1 or more of the following purposes:\n\nTo correct physical plant deficiencies cited by the department of social services under state licensing rules.\n\nTo purchase and install fire safety equipment or make physical plant changes that measurably assure a reasonable level of fire protection for all of the residents who live in the facility.\n\nTo correct physical plant deficiencies in accordance with state and federal certification standards.\n\nTo restore the facility to its prelease condition, if the facility's lease contains a clause stipulating that renovation is the lessee's responsibility at the time the lease expires or is terminated.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 330","Act Act-258-of-1974"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-330-1241","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"7541e4b639e1793e91df05c21f746049957e2240ae0d8d82c02ff8ece88ee2d4","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-330.1240","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-330.1242"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
