Laws § 330.2006a","heading":"Report to legislature.","body":"Sec. 1006a.\n\nNot later than April 1, 1995, the department of corrections and the department of mental health shall submit a report to the legislature, based on a joint evaluation, that includes, but is not limited to, all of the following with respect to the 18-month period preceding the report:\n\nA description of the provision of mental health services to prisoners.\n\nThe total number of prisoners served.\n\nThe number of hearings held pursuant to section 1003c and the disposition of each hearing.\n\nThe number of developmentally disabled prisoners in the corrections system and a description of the services those prisoners received.\n\nThe characteristics of the prisoners served and a description of the services they received, including, but not limited to, the length of stay in the corrections mental health program and the type of treatment received.\n\nThe report required under subsection (1) shall include recommendations for appropriate changes in mental health programs for prisoners.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 330","Act Act-258-of-1974"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-330-2006a","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"b518c53efdbdf13a48ea8926ef85a9d946279232ced25d341bbc1af738566e7e","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-330.2006","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-330.2020"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
