Laws § 333.16107","heading":"Definitions; P.","body":"Sec. 16107.\n\n(1) \"Permanent revocation\" means the permanent cancellation or withdrawal of a license, registration, or authorization to engage in the practice of a health profession under this article that is issued by the department, board, or task force.\n\n(2) \"Probation\" means a sanction that permits a board to evaluate over a period of time a licensee's or registrant's fitness to continue to practice under a license or registration.\n\n(3) \"Public member\" means a member of the general public who is not a licensee or registrant, is a resident of this state, is not less than 18 years of age, and does not have a material financial interest in the provision of health services and has not had a material financial interest within the 12 months before appointment.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 333","Act Act-368-of-1978"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-333-16107","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"f73081afe037f232d90d4c7478910823ccbad8b1c59f5225af817e8d29499f4e","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-333.16106a","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-333.16108"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
