Laws § 333.18813","heading":"Veterinarian or veterinary technician license renewal; continuing education; evidence; license cycle.","body":"Sec. 18813.\n\n(1) Beginning January 1, 2020, a licensee seeking renewal of a veterinarian's license shall, if requested, furnish the department with satisfactory evidence that during the 3 years immediately preceding application for renewal, he or she attended at least 45 hours of continuing education courses or programs approved by the board.\n\n(2) Beginning January 1, 2020, a licensee seeking renewal of a veterinary technician's license shall, if requested, furnish the department with satisfactory evidence that during the 3 years immediately preceding application for renewal, he or she attended at least 15 hours of continuing education courses or programs approved by the board.\n\n(3) The license cycle for a veterinarian's license and a veterinary technician's license is 3 years.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 333","Act Act-368-of-1978"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-333-18813","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"6c2cda51824e28e24478835950a84b375b289677b1ada6a8f80e82b92943e673","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-333.18812","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-333.18814"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
