Laws § 333.5474c[1]","heading":"Lead Poisoning Prevention Week.","body":"Sec. 5474c.\n\n(1) The legislature recognizes the imminent threats posed to children's health and cognitive development from ingestion of lead paint dust in residential neighborhoods, the broad dispersal of lead-laden soils from historical airborne deposition of leaded fuel emissions, and identified specific facilities that present known or potential lead hazards. The legislature further recognizes the need to educate the citizens of this state regarding those threats.\n\n(2) The legislature declares that October 23 through October 29, 2005 shall be known as the \"Lead Poisoning Prevention Week\" and for each year thereafter the period beginning on the fourth Sunday of October through the following Saturday shall be known as the \"Lead Poisoning Prevention Week\".","path":["MI Code","Chapter 333","Act Act-368-of-1978"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-333-5474c[1]","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"8c3600780a96709da12e6565381c4fc1ccc00bb2a009ec4412ce5493f00f068d","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-333.5474b-1","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-333.5474d"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
