Laws § 333.7541","heading":"Educational programs; powers of administrator.","body":"Sec. 7541.\n\nThe administrator, if funds are appropriated therefor, may carry out educational programs designed to prevent and deter misuse and abuse of controlled substances. In connection with these programs the administrator may:\n\nPromote better recognition of the problems of misuse and abuse of controlled substances within the regulated industry and among interested groups and organizations in contributing to the reduction of misuse and abuse of controlled substances.\n\nAssist the regulated industry and interested groups and organizations in contributing to the reduction of misuse and abuse of controlled substances.\n\nConsult with interested groups and organizations to aid them in solving administrative and organizational problems.\n\nEvaluate procedures, projects, techniques, and controls conducted or proposed as part of educational programs on misuse and abuse of controlled substances.\n\nDisseminate the results of research on misuse and abuse of controlled substances to promote a better public understanding of what problems exist and what can be done to combat them.\n\nAssist in the education and training of state and local law enforcement officials in their efforts to control misuse and abuse of controlled substances.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 333","Act Act-368-of-1978"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-333-7541","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"0e56be15e276bb86ea0aeb2825d6f970b200cb468c6131a512802b069c32e48e","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-333.7533","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-333.7543"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
