Laws § 333.9205a","heading":"Risks associated with meningococcal disease; materials; notice; availability; “institution of higher education” defined.","body":"Sec. 9205a.\n\nThe department shall identify materials that contain information regarding the risks associated with meningococcal disease and the availability, effectiveness, and potential risks of immunization for meningococcal disease, and other diseases about which the department may recommend immunization or immunization information.\n\nThe department shall notify each institution of higher education and high school in this state of the availability of the materials described in subsection (1) and post the materials on its website.\n\nThe department shall encourage each institution of higher education in this state to provide or make available to students enrolled in the institution of higher education, and each high school in this state to provide or make available to parents of students attending the high school, information regarding the risks associated with meningococcal disease and the availability, effectiveness, and potential risks of immunization for meningococcal disease and other diseases about which the department may recommend immunization or immunization information.\n\nAs used in this section, \"institution of higher education\" means a degree or certificate granting public or private college or university, junior college, or community college.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 333","Act Act-368-of-1978"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-333-9205a","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"e4399e01760298c83da33dcf31778a90c842093b046dd89e22997ae9da480714","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-333.9205","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-333.9205b"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
