Laws § 339.301","heading":"Boards; composition; qualifications of members; director as ex officio member.","body":"Sec. 301.\n\nEach board shall consist of 9 voting members. Except as otherwise provided in this act, 6 of the members of a board shall be individuals who have a license or registration in the occupation which the board monitors. Except as otherwise provided in this act, 3 of the members of a board shall represent the general public. The director shall be an ex officio member without vote of a board, but is not a member for purposes of section 5 of article V of the state constitution of 1963 or for determining a quorum.
