Laws § 339.602","heading":"Violation of act, rule, or order; penalties.","body":"Sec. 602.\n\nA person, school, or institution that violates this act or a rule or order promulgated or issued under this act shall be assessed 1 or more of the following penalties:\n\n(a) Placement of a limitation on a license or certificate of registration for an occupation regulated under articles 8 to 25.\n\n(b) Suspension of a license or certificate of registration.\n\n(c) Denial of a license, certificate of registration, or renewal of a license or certificate of registration.\n\n(d) Revocation of a license or certificate of registration.\n\n(e) In the case of a person licensed or registered under this act and except as otherwise provided in this act, an administrative fine to be paid to the department of not more than $10,000.00.\n\n(f) Censure.\n\n(g) Probation.\n\n(h) A requirement that restitution be made, based on proofs submitted to and findings made by the hearing examiner after a contested case.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 339","Act Act-299-of-1980"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-339-602","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"79a55076c87240b9ca015845705f0af2befa60ea33da00285b8ae9b2aeb7b8d4","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-339.601","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-339.603"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
