Laws § 380.1237","heading":"Employment of individual who does not hold teaching certificate to provide speech and language services.","body":"Sec. 1237.\n\nNotwithstanding any other provision of this act or a rule to the contrary, a school district, local act school district, intermediate school district, or public school academy may employ an individual who does not hold a teaching certificate to provide speech and language services if the individual meets the requirements for speech-language certification by the American speech-language-hearing association.
