Laws § 388.1023","heading":"Certification of applicant as qualified parent cooperative preschool teacher; requirements.","body":"Sec. 3.\n\nThe department of education shall certify an applicant as a qualified parent cooperative preschool teacher for purposes of this act if the applicant meets any of the following requirements:\n\nThe applicant has earned 120 semester credit hours in an accredited institution of higher education, including not less than 15 semester hours of child development course work.\n\nThe applicant has earned 60 semester credit hours in an accredited institution of higher education before July 1, 1979, including not less than 15 semester hours of child development course work.\n\nThe applicant has taught in a parent cooperative preschool for not less than 5 years before the effective date of this act.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 388","Act Act-143-of-1976"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-388-1023","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"e4e7a4182d4cbfbd541821dc5976c5eb23d523af659aea989bf719e0d681ce88","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-388.1022","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-388.1024"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
