Laws § 388.713","heading":"Determination of emergency; hearing.","body":"Sec. 3.\n\nUpon receipt of the petition, the state committee shall conduct, or cause to be conducted, an impartial study to determine if an emergency exists. Within 20 days following publication of the results of the study, a member of the state committee, or the secretary designated by the committee, shall hold a hearing in the district.
