Laws § 388.714","heading":"Reorganization committee; findings, contents.","body":"Sec. 4.\n\nWithin 20 days following receipt of a transcript of the hearing, the state committee shall make a finding relative to the existence of a condition or conditions warranting immediate reorganization of the district. The finding shall include consideration of the adequacy of the district to provide the following:\n\nAn educational program meeting standards established by the state department of education or by accrediting agencies.\n\nA physical plant which can contain an acceptable school program.\n\nTransportation for students.\n\nNecessary tax base.\n\nPupil services, administrative and teaching staff, and auxiliary services in compliance with rules prescribed by the department of education.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 388","Act Act-239-of-1967"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-388-714","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"364c767a29e9d6481ac87a33a95614c95ef76978c198e489482e74820f460ad9","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-388.713","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-388.715"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
