Laws § 390.1022","heading":"Qualifications for state payments.","body":"Sec. 2.\n\nTo qualify for state payments under this act, an independent nonprofit institution of higher education shall:\n\nBe incorporated under Act No. 327 of the Public Acts of 1931, as amended, being sections 450.98 to 450.192 of the Michigan Compiled Laws, or subject to that act without formal organization thereunder.\n\nSubmit annually to the state board of education reports which are required and necessary to administer this act.\n\nMaintain for 3 years and make available for inspection records necessary for conducting an audit and for administration of this act.\n\nFile with the state board of education a certificate of assurance of compliance with title 6 of the civil rights act of 1964, Public Law 88-352, 78 Stat. 241, as in effect on January 1, 1966.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 390","Act Act-75-of-1974"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-390-1022","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"8178230e841df8b3a520752b28d615023cd5a4a3481d0609f4c91ab72f9c34ed","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-390.1021","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-390.1023"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
