Laws § 393.360","heading":"Act inapplicable to certain concessions; sighted person operating concession under contract or lease, or operating concession not applied for by blind person.","body":"Sec. 10.\n\nThis act shall not apply to a concession operated in connection with the state fair, with the use of state fairgrounds, with a state educational institution, state penal institution, military establishment, armory, or state park.\n\nA sighted person operating a concession under contract or lease at the time this act becomes effective shall not be required to surrender the rights before the contract or lease expires.\n\nA sighted person operating a concession which has not been applied for by a blind person may be permitted to continue in charge until the concession is applied for and a qualified blind person is chosen to operate the concession.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 393","Act Act-260-of-1978"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-393-360","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"65552471de98a94c929b153b498ba5b2c4edf7dc02324541dedca8e39ae0610d","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-393.359","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-393.360a"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
