Laws § 399.403","heading":"Maritime corporation employees working at museum to become department employees.","body":"Sec. 103.\n\nAt the time of transfer, employees of the maritime corporation working at the maritime museum on the effective date of this act shall become employees of the department in accordance with a plan prepared by the department and approved by the department of civil service. The plan shall relate to compensation, classification, status, probationary periods, seniority, longevity, annual and sick leave, group insurance coverages, retirement, and other terms and conditions of employment.\n\nThe sum of not to exceed $25,000.00 is appropriated to the department from the general fund for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1991, and 2 full-time equated positions are authorized for the purposes of this section.\n\nNothing in subsection (1) shall be construed to restrict the department from assigning new duties to, or otherwise transferring, a former employee of the maritime museum after the person becomes an employee of the department.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 399","Act Act-325-of-1990"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-399-403","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"e2127e90ef775c4b6ac913d261d22e467f183293ecbbd8a76c84e5b3811214e4","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-399.402","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-399.404"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
