Laws § 399.603","heading":"Property loaned to museum on or after January 1, 1993; duties.","body":"Sec. 3.\n\nFor each item of property loaned to a museum on or after January 1, 1993, the museum shall do all of the following at the time of the loan:\n\nMake and retain a written record containing at least all of the following information:\n\nThe owner's name, address, and telephone number.\n\nThe name, address, and telephone number of a person designated by the owner for the museum to contact in the event that the owner cannot be located.\n\nA description of the property loaned.\n\nThe beginning date of the loan.\n\nThe duration of the loan.\n\nProvide the lender a signed receipt or loan agreement containing at least the record set forth in subdivision (a).\n\nInform the lender of the existence of this act and provide the lender with a copy of this act upon the lender's request.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 399","Act Act-24-of-1992"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-399-603","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"cd3d8866aab1d3b853d8a366a8396a30f6006cabc5cf753c04d2de7b11238393","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-399.602","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-399.604"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
