Laws § 4.1204e","heading":"Bills and resolutions; availability of status on Internet; copyright or other proprietary interest or entitlement; fee prohibited.","body":"Sec. 204e.\n\nNotwithstanding section 204, beginning July 1, 1999, the council shall make the status of every bill and resolution that is introduced in each house during the current legislative session available to the public on the Internet.\n\nThe information described in subsection (1) that is maintained by the council shall be made available in the shortest feasible time after the information is available. The information described in subsection (1) that is not maintained by the council shall be made available in the shortest feasible time after it is made available to the council.\n\nThis section does not alter or relinquish any copyright or other proprietary interest or entitlement of this state relating to any of the information made available under this section.\n\nThe council shall not charge a fee to provide the status of every bill and resolution on the Internet as provided in subsection (1).","path":["MI Code","Chapter 4","Act Act-268-of-1986"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-4-1204e","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"a707041346474dafd78c8ac650ce7a180a35295a1c7dae702d22c24267239082","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-4.1204d","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-4.1204f"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
