Laws § 400.655","heading":"Written report; filing with court; contents.","body":"Sec. 15.\n\nWithin 150 days after the voluntary foster care agreement is signed, the department shall file with the court in the county where the youth resides a written report that shall contain all of the following:\n\n(a) The youth's name, date of birth, race, gender, and current address.\n\n(b) A statement of facts that supports the voluntary foster care agreement and includes both of the following:\n\n( i ) The reasonable efforts made to achieve permanency for the youth.\n\n( ii ) The reasons why it remains in the youth's best interests to continue in voluntary foster care.\n\n(c) A copy of the signed voluntary foster care agreement.\n\n(d) Any other information the department or the youth wants the court to consider.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 400","Act Act-225-of-2011"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-400-655","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"98d36f7a49c6cb11efb2275caa90e40b104e4bd0e4b200e9345dc2987f981307","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-400.653","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-400.657"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
