Laws § 400.791","heading":"Definitions.","body":"Sec. 1.\n\nAs used in this act:\n\n(a) \"Departments\" means the department of community health, the department of human services, and the department of education.\n\n(b) \"Evidence-based program\" means a home visitation program described in section 3.\n\n(c) \"Home visitation\" means a voluntary service delivery strategy that is carried out in relevant settings, primarily in the homes of families with children ages 0 to 5 years and pregnant women.\n\n(d) \"Home visiting system\" means the infrastructure and programs that support and provide home visitation.\n\n(e) \"Promising program\" means a home visitation program described in section 3.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 400","Act Act-291-of-2012"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-400-791","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"ce4f321e8316bd3b5f9348171417f77dcb244a3b3f64c4bcc291cfd2441d3ba8","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-400.192","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-400.792"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
