Laws § 421.153","heading":"Selection of service providers; criteria; use of funds to duplicate available facilities or services; determination.","body":"Sec. 3.\n\nSelection of service providers under the job training partnership act shall be based upon the following criteria:\n\nDemonstrated historical performance.\n\nLikelihood of meeting performance goals.\n\nCost effectiveness.\n\nQuality of training.\n\nCharacteristics of participants.\n\nWhether the entity has adequate internal administrative controls, accounting procedures, personnel standards, evaluation procedures, availability of in-service training and technical assistance programs, and other policies that are or may be necessary to promote the effective use of funds that may be received under the job training partnership act.\n\nIn selecting service providers under the job training partnership act, funds shall not be used to duplicate facilities or services available in an area unless it is determined that alternative services or facilities would be more effective or more likely to achieve identified performance goals.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 421","Act Act-173-of-1983"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-421-153","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"686ee4d980b0765f37b2014d45c0fb689c3fa8cdc8e27eb79ac2a88a60fa5816","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-421.152","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-421.154"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
